I have always used electric Mowers and since I am 85 it gives you an idea of how long. I simply don't care for the smell of a gas Mower and pull to start and much prefer the fragrance of fresh cut grass and starting at the gentle pull of a lever. This Mower compares favorably to the Black and Decker 19 inch
that died on me with a burned out Motor. This Mower seems easier to push to me and even though it has a 20 inch blade ample power for my grass. I have only cut my grass twice since it was purchased so I can not speak for its durability as yet, if I am still around next year I may add to this review.continue reading below Amazon Search

could I plug a 50 ft extension cord
into the end of a 100 ft extension cord without voiding the warranty? If so, what gauge cord should I use? Answer
I spoke with their customer support before i purcahse last summer because I use a 100 ft 12 gauge cord plugged into another 25ft gauge cord...and they said that would be fine. I have had no problems or hint of power problems. They even said i could add a 50 ft cord.

According to the box it came in it is made in China and the company who sells them is in Edison, N.J. I have had no problems with my Sun Joe Mow Joe, absolutely love it.

what material is the mower housed in? my previous model was plastic and I'd prefer something sturdier

The mower deck (dark green in photo) is stamped steel and the motor cover (light green in photo) is ~3mm plastic. Note that the latter is a shroud that covers/protects the motor, not the motor housing itself. One would have to remove the cover to inspect the motor housing and I am not interested in doing that unless/until it is absolutely necessary.
